KNIPEX Launches Forged Wire Stripper

KNIPEX Tools is introducing its Forged Wire Stripper. The Forged Wire Stripper is made from high-grade special tool steel that is forged and multi-stage oil-hardened. Designed for cutting holes for 6-32 and 8-32 screws, the tool is intended for stripping and cutting both solid and stranded wires between 10 and 20 AWG. Its screw cutting holes have no threads on them, so a screw can be inserted and cut, making it faster and easier to install. There are locating ridges between the stripping holes for easier access, wide knurled gripping jaws for twisting wires, and induction-hardened shear cutting blades that offer 50 per cent higher cutting capacity than conventional wire cutters. The Forged Wire Stripper’s cutting blades are designed to cut individual wires, NM-B, BX/MC, and battery cable. Other features include a lock that can be used by either right or left-handed consumers, an internal spring for easy opening, and a bolted joint for precise and smooth cutting adjustment.
