IKEA Catalogue Retires After 70 Years

The IKEA Catalogue is being retired after 70 years of publication. The catalogue  of home furnishing and product solutions has come to an end and will be focusing on a more digital approach in media consumerism. “We are not starting from scratch. We have been transforming how we reach and interact with our customers and the work continues to find new ways to amplify our unique home furnishing knowledge, products, and solutions in the best possible way,” says Konrad Grüss, managing director at Inter IKEA Systems B.V. With IKEA Canada’s online sales increased by 41.9 per cent last year, the retailer has been focused predominantly on digital services including the launch of its app.
