Retail Segment Leads CTC Growth

Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited’s growth of 12.8 per cent in the fourth quarter was driven by double digit growth in almost 70 per cent of product categories and owned brands growth of 18 per cent. Normalized income before income taxes in the retail segment increased by 70.1 per cent and retail revenue (excluding petroleum) grew 20.1 per cent. eCommerce sales in the quarter grew 142 per cent, with penetration rate more than doubling 2019 levels.
