Brands Starting Holiday Shopping Campaigns Early

If brands aren’t thinking and planning for the holidays yet, they are running out of time, says Sitecore, a global digital experience management software company. Its research shows that 42 per cent of marketers believe that this holiday season is a make-or-break opportunity for their business, but only 21 per cent are completely prepared for it. And, with the 2020 holiday season marred by austerity, health concerns, and shipping delays, brands need to start preparing now. One way marketers plan to stand out this holiday season is by creating an experiential destination, while others say this is the last chance to prove the value of their store. In addition, marketers plan to embrace new ways to boost customer engagement such as virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI), with 91 per cent planning to enhance these offerings by year’s end.
