Fulton’s HHBC Receives ‘Store of the Year Award’

Airdrie, AB-based Fulton’s Home Hardware Building Centre has received the annual ‘Walter J. Hachborn Store of the Year Award’ presented by Home Hardware Stores Limited at the ‘2021 Virtual Fall Market.’ Dealer-owners Mike and Colleen Fulton were recognized for epitomizing the values on which Home Hardware was co-founded by Walter J. Hachborn over 55 years ago – value, service, and dependability. The award is presented to the top finalist in the ‘Proud of My Home Achievement Award’ category. These recipients demonstrate strong staff performance, superior customer service, excellence in interior and exterior store presentation, and active participation in dealer network initiatives. The recipients of the ‘Best Home Hardware’ awards were Home Hardware Lethbridge in Lethbridge, AB; Gravenhurst Home Hardware in Gravenhurst, ON; Entreprises M. Lapierre Inc. in Havre-Aubert, QC; and Charlottetown Home Hardware in Charlottetown, PE. The recipients of the ‘Best Home Building Centre’ awards were Central Builder’s Supply PG in Prince George, BC; Knight’s Home Building Centre in Meaford, ON; Centre de Rénovation FLD Inc. in Temiscaming, QC; and Abbott’s Home Building Centre in Port au Port, NL. The recipients for the ‘Best Home Hardware Building Centre’ awards were Fulton’s Home Hardware Building Centre in Airdrie, AB; Timmins Building Supplies Home Hardware in Timmins, ON; Matériaux Dallaire Enr. in Alma, QC; and Annapolis Home Hardware Building Centre in Annapolis Royal, NS. The ‘Best Young Retailer’ awards went to Zak’s Home Hardware Building Centres in Warman and Hague, SK; Schell Lumber Home Building Centre in Stouffville, ON; Centre de Renovation St-Simeon in Saint-Simeon-de-Bonaventure, QC; and Elmwood Home Hardware Building Centre in Moncton, NB. Lavoie Home Hardware Building Centre in Campbellton, NB, received the ‘Paul Straus Public Relations Award’ and Stratford Home Furniture in Stratford, ON, received the ‘Best Home Furniture’ award.
