Pricing Helps Sherwin-Williams Sales

The Sherwin-Williams Company had net sales of $5.87 billion in the second quarter of its fiscal 2022 year, up 9.2 per cent over net sales of $5.38 billion in the second quarter of 2021. The company says sales increased primarily due to selling price increases in all segments, higher professional architectural sales volume in North America paint stores, and higher sales volumes in its packaging and coil businesses. Net sales in the consumer brands group segment increased 0.9 per cent year-over-year and net sales in the performance coatings group segment were up 15.2 per cent.
