Cadillac Fairview launches residential project at CF Carrefour Laval

Cadillac Fairview (CF) has broken ground on its second residential rental project in the Montréal Metropolitan Area at CF Carrefour Laval. The development, marking CF’s third major residential initiative in Canada, will feature 365 units across two towers—20 and 11 stories—connected by a six-story podium with amenities such as a swimming pool and retail spaces.

The project represents CF’s commitment to addressing Canada’s housing shortage by integrating residential spaces into retail centers, creating vibrant, mixed-use communities.

“This announcement is not just about building much-needed homes in Montréal, but it's also about creating a dynamic, connected community,” said Sal Iacono, CF’s president and CEO.

Construction begins this month, with occupancy expected by summer 2027.
