Doidge Building Centres adds two new RONA stores to Ontario portfolio

Doidge Building Centres Ltd. has acquired the DEKA Home Building Centres in Carp and Woodlawn, Ontario, which will transition to the RONA banner. This acquisition brings the total number of RONA stores owned by Doidge Building Centres to 12.

Andrew Doidge, president and CEO, highlighted the company’s commitment to working closely with local communities and supporting home improvement projects. Former owner James Roy will remain a shareholder and key partner.

“Andrew and his team are great at what they do, and we are thrilled to see them expand their footprint,” said Alain Ménard, senior vice-president, RONA Affiliated Dealers at RONA inc. “I’m sure the Carp and Woodlawn communities will greatly benefit from their expertise.”

Renovations are planned to enhance customer experience at the new locations.
