Home Hardware Supports Habitat For Humanity

Home Hardware Stores Limited is once again donating thousands of pounds of home improvement materials to its local Habitat for Humanity. The retailer regularly gets boxes delivered to its distribution centre in St. Jacobs, ON, with products and materials that are spilled, dented, or other otherwise damaged and can’t be sold. As a result, for almost 10 years it has donated paint, cleaning supplies, topsoil, fashion plumbing products, obsolete hardware, and adhesives to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Waterloo, ON. The ReStore is able to take these products as donations and give them a second life and for a good cause. Since 2016, Home Hardware has donated over 137,000 pounds of product that has now been diverted from waste and repurposed in the local community.
