Home Hardware Virtual Fall Market A Success

Home Hardware held its ‘2020 Virtual Fall Market’ from September 13 to 23 and saw a big increase in participation over the spring market. The market provided an opportunity for members of Home Hardware’s community to connect with each other and for dealers and store staff to view presentations and company updates. The virtual platform also allowed Home Hardware suppliers to showcase their products to dealers across the country. Nine virtual presentations included key updates on eCommerce enhancements, a new point-of-sale system solution, and Home’s 2021 marketing plan. The number of presentations viewed increased more than 500 per cent over the retailer’s ‘2020 Virtual Spring Market.’ As well during the event, Chemong Home Hardware Building Centre was awarded the annual ‘Walter J. Hachborn Store of the Year Award’ and dealer-owners Mike and Randy Kingdon, Terry Jenkins, and Fred Sweeting received the ‘Proud of My Home Award’ for ‘Store of the Year’ and ‘Best Home Hardware Building Centre over 15,000 square feet.’
