Maintenance Products Drive WD-40 Sales

WD-40 Company had total net sales of $111.6 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020, an increase of five per cent compared to total net sales of $106.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2019. Net sales for the Americas segment were $56.8 million, up 15 per cent compared to $49.3 million in the year-ago period. The increase in sales for the Americas was due entirely to higher sales of maintenance products in the United States, Canada, and Latin America which increased 13 per cent, 33 per cent, and 38 per cent respectively. Total net income for the quarter was $19.7 million, an increase of 129 per cent compared to the prior-year quarter. Gross margin was 56.3 per cent compared to 54.6 per cent last year.
