Monarch Specialties commences $50 million expansion of Laval warehouse

Monarch Specialties has commenced a $50-million expansion of its Laval facilities. The project, managed by Montoni Group, will add 400,000 square feet, including a warehouse for Monarch and two rental premises for businesses seeking premium industrial space near highways 13 and 440.

The new warehouse will enhance Monarch’s logistics and inventory capacity, supporting its diversification into upholstery and bedroom furniture. This investment aligns with the company’s partnerships with major retailers like Amazon, Wayfair, and Costco.

“The expansion of our facilities is an investment in the future. It symbolizes our commitment to operational excellence and will allow us to better adapt to rapid changes in the market while supporting our mission of providing our customers with innovative, quality products,” said Monarch president David Berger.

The collaboration continues a relationship between Monarch and Montoni that began in 2007.
