Suppliers and retailers recognized at Outstanding Retailer Awards

Suppliers and retailers from across Canada gathered on Tuesday for the 2024 Outstanding Retailer Awards during a gala dinner at the annual Hardlines Conference, held at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu.

Several awards were presented, recognizing excellence in the industry. The Best Hardware or Paint Store award went to Cloverdale Paint Store #71 in Saskatoon, Sask. BMR Pro Brae-Con Building Supplies from Elmvale, Ont., was named Best Building Supply or Home Centre under 15,000 square feet, while Brideco BMR in St-Honoré, Que., won the category for locations over 15,000 square feet.

Other notable winners included Mission Building Supplies, E.G. Penner Building Centre, and RONA Forget. The Young Retailer of the Year award was presented to Phylip Savard-Tremblay, and the Marc Robichaud Community Leader award recognized Buck’s Home Building Centre in Bridgewater, N.S.
